Climber, graduate of climbing, it is in the medium of the spectacle of cord that Véronique Wirth evolves before tasting painting and devoting herself to it completely. Sculpture came later, about ten years ago. This new challenge pushes her to realize a monumental work made of technical washers intended to dress a traffic circle of the Drôme. This was the beginning of a long story that would lead her to create a personalized work for the starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic.
Inspired by nature, amazed since her childhood by the lights, the artist, now established in Monteux, is in a permanent search for balance, for lightness. Behind the brutality of the materials, she uses for her sculptures, such as concrete irons or metal washers, she takes up the challenge of talking about the human being, of showing beauty and softness. It is with a lot of poetry that her works Cocon, Mathéorite and Défi are revealed in the park of Château Charleval.
