Pierre-Stéphane Dumas

Air is a bit of his material. And Charleval brings him a great breath of oxygen. Pierre-Stéphane Dumas, a designer committed to ecotourism and eager to recreate the link between man and nature, has been deploying his accommodation bubbles around the world since 2006. “Where it is needed, when it is needed, with a minimum of material and a minimum of energy”. This is his credo.

But under the windows of the castle, it is a chrome sphere that is a bit special. This one was thought above all to welcome scenography. By playing on the polarization of the light, “we can include or exclude the one who is observed inside the bubble or the one who is outside”, explains the creator of this atypical space who likes to work on this ambiguity between the inside and the outside and to create a world where one crosses oneself at the limit of the dream, one’s own bubble, one’s own universe, one’s own limits, one’s own imaginary.

Château Charleval accueille l’exposition « Seasons of heaven », qui réunit les deux artistes, Aurélia Rocher et Joanna Cutri. Céramiques et toiles contemporaines se répondent et questionnent notre lien à la Mémoire et la Nature.
